Job Overview

• Position: CT Technologist (ARRT - CT)
• Facility Affiliation: CommonSpirit Health / Dignity Health
• Shift: 3x12s, Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Saturday
  • Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
• Contract Length: 91 weeks
• Charting System: EPIC (EMR), McKesson (PACS)
• Orientation: 36-40 hours unit-specific
• Setting: Acute Care, Level 1 Trauma

Facility & Department Details

• Equipment Used:
  • Siemens CT systems
  • Bracco contrast injectors
• CT Department:
  • 8 treatment areas
  • May float to main campus or stand-alone ER (UC campus)
• Study Types:
  • Wide range of imaging - pediatrics to geriatrics
  • CTA, cardiac, perfusion, trauma, OR and ER-focused
• Volume & Pace: Fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Float Requirements: May float to MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound

Requirements

• Certifications Required:
  • ARRT (CT)
  • BLS (AHA only)
• Licensure: Must meet ARRT CT standards
• Experience/Skills:
  • CT and X-ray proficiency preferred for overnight shift
  • Skilled in venipuncture
  • Able to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Self-motivated and strong team player with excellent follow-up
• Preferred Attributes:
  • Quick learner, initiative-driven, and collaborative
  • Thinks outside the box and thrives in high-volume settings

Restrictions & Policies

• Radius Rule: Must live 50+ miles away
  • Driver's license required at submittal to verify distance
• Current Employment Restriction:
  • Cannot be FT/PT/PRN at any CHI/CommonSpirit/Dignity facility
• RTO Policy:
  • Max 7 days per 13-week contract
  • No additional time off approved after submission
• Holiday Requirements: As needed by the department
• Cancellation Policy:
  • Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
