Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds : 400

Patient Ratios : Average 180 CT exams per day - 3 scanners

Unit staffing description-: 2 Techs per scanner-day/ Total 3 techs/overnights

Type of equipment : GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice

Documentation system: Meditech

Scheduling requirements: n/a

Floating policy: n/a

Patient Experience requirements: Perform ED and IP only. Compassionate care model.

Hospital Specifics-

Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited.

CT - ACR accredited

Hiring profile

Years of Experience Required: At least 1 yr experience in level 1 trauma setting

Requested Skill Set: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently

Must have :



Advanced skills needed: Ability to perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and IP's.



Procedures performed on unit: Routine CT exams for ED and IP's to include Trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTA.



Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred.


Dress Code : (Required uniform)

Charcoal grey.
