We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of New York State. As a CT Technologist, you'll perform a range of diagnostic radiographic and CT procedures using advanced imaging technology. You'll deliver patient-centered care across a variety of age groups and clinical needs in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic and CT imaging procedures, including contrast-enhanced studies across brain, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, and more
- Operate CT scanners, radiographic units, and portable equipment with accuracy and professionalism
- Maintain high standards of image quality, positioning, and patient communication
- Ensure proper radiation safety and protection for patients and staff
- Utilize RIS and PACS to process exams, edit patient data, and ensure accurate documentation
- Participate in emergency call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comply with NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines and facility-specific quality control measures
Qualifications: - Current ARRT certification
- NYS Radiologic Technologist License
- Minimum of 1 year experience in both CT and general radiography
- Proficiency in patient instruction and support during imaging procedures
- Experience using RIS and PACS systems
- Demonstrated flexibility and professionalism in high-acuity settings
