1YR/1ST TIMERS - CT/XRAY Tech - Req 8348 Will position float between units: No Is on-call required? Yes 1-3 days a month Are weekends required? No Are block schedules required? Yes What are expected ratios? 1:1 Special requirements: Shift would be M-W (12 hour shifts; nights ). (3) 12 hr shifts / 36 hrs per week. We use a GE 64 slice and Canon (aka Toshiba) 32 slice CT scanners. We use Epic for our EMR system and Philips iSite for PACS. This shift would also be responsible for performing radiology exams on ED and inpatients between the hours of . We use CareStream portable x-ray machines and Canon (aka Toshiba) DR x-ray rooms. This position is therefore responsible for both CT (primary) and Radiology (secondary) with back-up call staff scheduled in both modalities to use when needed (no fluoroscopy or surgery is required; call staff would be used for these exams on night shift).
