Travel CT Tech

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist (CT Tech) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) scanning equipment to create detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bodies. You will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT scans on patients by accurately positioning them and ensuring proper imaging techniques. Prepare and explain the CT procedure to patients, answering any questions or concerns. Administer contrast agents as needed, following all safety protocols. Ensure patient comfort and safety during the imaging process. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain optimal images for diagnostic purposes. Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including scan results, images, and any required documentation. Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on CT equipment. Follow strict protocols to ensure radiation safety for both patients and staff. Adhere to all hospital or facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the CT scanning room and equipment.
