Travel CT Tech

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced CT Technologist (CT Tech) to join our healthcare team. The CT Tech will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) scanning equipment to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures, helping physicians diagnose and treat various medical conditions. This role requires a balance of technical skills, attention to detail, and compassion to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT scans for diagnostic purposes according to established protocols and procedures. Prepare and position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images while ensuring their comfort and safety. Administer contrast agents as directed by the physician and in accordance with safety guidelines. Review images for quality and clarity, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards. Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and ensure proper care. Maintain patient records and imaging results in accordance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Monitor patients before, during, and after scans to ensure their safety and well-being. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff. Clean and maintain the CT room, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition. Provide excellent patient care, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and answering any questions. Stay current with advancements in CT imaging technology and techniques through ongoing professional development and training.
