Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
- 2+ Years of Hosp Experience
- State certification with TMB
- ARRT ( R ) ( CT )
- BLS
- Ability to cover on-call
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:
- Ability to work in both CT and Radiology
- Able to work independently
- Familiar with PACS system. We use GE Centricity
- Computer skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Follow department policies and procedures
- Meditech Experience Preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (CT Tech)
- State certification with TMB
- ARRT ( R ) ( CT )
Procedures performed on unit:
- CT procedures include biopsies and drain placement
- Must be able to perform all CT exams
- Must be able to perform Radiology exams
Patient Experience Required:
- Great patient care skills- make a personal connection, Acknowledge patient, Introduce self, Explain duration and exam, thank patient.
- Must have excellent customer service skills
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
- CT Tech: Facility will provide Scrubs
- Nail Policy Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
- Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
- Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
- Piercings Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
