The Certified Surgical Technician, under the direction of the Operating Room Manager, is responsible for organizing services related to a specific or group of surgical specialty(ies) to ensure quality patient care, efficient and cost effective service, providing a focal point for information related to that service to ensure that staff and physicians have needed information; ensuring/providing continuity of care for all aspects of the perioperative period; and, managing all aspects of care to ensure that quality is assured, i.e. equipment availability; equipment functionality. CORI/SIR SEARCHES ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION/TO BE STARTED ASAP UPON OFFER ACCEPTANCE/Candidate fills out, Facility conducts (Candidate cannot start assignment until these searches are resulted). 2 years current CST experience NBSTSA REQUIRED (NCCT not accepted) AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO PROFILE - PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION.
