EMR: Meditech Description:
Set up and organize surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring all necessary tools are sterile and ready for use.
Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons, maintain the sterile field, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
Clean and restock the operating room after surgeries, ensuring readiness for the next procedure. Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program. Certification Requirements:
Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Association of Surgical Technologist (AST) or NCCT.
Colorado Surgical Tech License - CST (DORA), required in Colorado.
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
Active CO Certified Surgical Tech (CST) License with DORA. Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
Must have experience with Ortho, total joints, Neuro/Spine, Robotics, Urology, GYN, ENT, and Plastics.
