CVOR Certified Surgical Technician position
Requires BLS certification
2+ years of Open Heart experience required
Flexible shifts between
Call required based on department needs, currently 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
Holiday call hours and rotation with regular staff, at least 1 per contract
May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment
Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment
Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start, updated yearly
Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer
Fit Test required, preferred to be completed prior to start
Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination to vaccine
Health Statement required prior to first assignment, updated annually
1st PPD within 1 year, 2nd PPD within 30 days of start
Documented proof of two Varicella vaccines or serological evidence of immunity
Valid Tdap required, must not be expired
Ascension Profile required prior to first assignment
At least two professional references required prior to first assignment
Ascension Criminal Background Check Results required prior to first assignment
Ascension EPLS required prior to first assignment
Ascension Skills Checklist to be completed within one year of start, updated annually
Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen required prior to first assignment
Ascension Education Verification to be completed within 90 days of start
Ascension Confirmation of Assignment required prior to first assignment
