Candidate must have at least 2 years experience in Level 1 facility.
Certified Sterile Processing Tech (Accredited Agency)
Able to work independently in the following areas: Deco, Prep and Pack, Sterilization, Case Carts, Other accessory area within Sterile Processing
Must be able to adapt and work in a Level One Sterile Processing Trauma Hospital
Must be able to work as a team player, to accomplish tray completion for the operating room

Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification, as required for the position ran within 30 days of start updated upon expiration. Attestations not allowed. Needs to be rerun every 2 years with RN license renewal & upon expiration. Temporary Licenses are NOT accepted - must have a valid permanent license.
Clinical Only: Skill specific required to be complete within 1 year prior to start. Only needs to be done once upon initial hire. This is not an annual requirement.
Resume to include Education and Work History, 2 Professional References required within the last 2 years, and Job Application to be completed by the candidate. Please use agency form.

Proof of vaccine from Oct-March or exemptions must be submitted for approval. No declinations allowed. If exemption is needed for medical or religious reasons only, signed UH Exemption Form and UH Masking Attestation Form required to be signed. For medical reasons, a statement from a physician is required along with signed UH forms. Document can be found in document library.
Non-expired photo ID provided.
2-Step TB test with negative reads within the last 6 months. Either true PPD 2-step or QuantiFERON/TSPOT is acceptable. This is an annual requirement. If positive, clear chest x-ray and current TB questionnaire required. Chest X-Rays valid for 5 years.
