Job Details - Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab
- Start date: ASAP - 4 weeks out for compliance purposes
- Shift: Variable 4x10 - , call team
- Types of Cases REQ: Coronary Angio/PCI, Vascular/AAA, Peripheral, IR, Neuro, Structural Heart, EP, Pacers/ICDs
- Most Common Equipment: Philips, CSI, Rotablator, Shockwave, Inari, Impella, IABP, FFR, IVUS, JestStream, AngioJet, TurboHawk
- Years of experience REQ: 2 years Cath Lab required, EP experience preferred
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Weekend REQ: TBD
- National Certs REQ: WA licensed CVT and/or ARRT, also BLS and ACLS required.
- Is on-call REQ? Yes, 6 nights a month (includes 1 weekend every 4-5 weeks)
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No

Job Requirements - Education: Accredited Secondary Education Program Required: Cardiovascular or Radiologic Technology
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years Required: Clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required or equivalent
- Required: Previous experience working in a hospital setting
- Credentials: Required: Certification/Registration/Licensure as required by the WA State for a Radiologic Technologist
- Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support
- Required Standard: Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within a standard grace period from hire or transfer
- Required within 6 months: National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification PHSW Cath Lab RT(R) only
- Preferred: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
Schedule Information - Variable 4x10 -
- On-call required: Yes, 6 nights a month (includes 1 weekend every 4-5 weeks)
Unit Specific Information - SWMC Cath Lab: ARRT required. On-call required. NIHSS course completed within six months of hire.
Additional Details - Must sign SS verification release.
- ACLS is required for ICU, ER, PCU, Cath Lab, PACU, Tele, Respiratory Therapists.
- BLS is required.
- NIH is required for ED, Cath Lab, ICU, CV Surgery (not CVOR), and Neurology.
