We have an immediate need for a CV Technologist in the Cath Lab, requiring a minimum of 2 years' experience. This role involves working closely with physicians and RN staff in a team setting to perform invasive cardiac procedures. The department operates with 2 labs and typically handles 4-5 cases per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cath Lab Procedures: Assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Team Collaboration: Work directly with Physicians and RN staff to support patient care in the lab environment.
- Equipment: Utilize GE equipment, with experience on this equipment strongly preferred.
- Epic Experience: Epic (Cupid) experience preferred but inpatient Epic is sufficient.
- Patient Care: Provide high-level care to patients throughout the procedural process, from pre-op through post-op.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CV Technologist in a Cath Lab setting.
- Licensure/Registration/Certification:
- ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) OR
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) required.
- ACLS preferred.
- Equipment Experience: Experience with GE equipment is strongly preferred.
- Education:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program OR
- Documentation of Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS) credentials.
