Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 4x10
Schedule Notes: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM - with 10-15 days of off hours call for STEMI and Stroke emergencies.
Description:
The Cath Lab Tech will assist in a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
All access site management including sheath removals.
Scrubbing cardiac, endovascular, radiology, neurology procedures - diagnostic and interventional.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Nursing, or a related field
Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiologic Technology program
Licensing/Certification:
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT Certification (required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe)
New Jersey State License (if applicable for radiologic technologists)
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Certs required are ARRT, ACLS, BLS, basic arrhythmia Certs preferred are NIHSS.
Experience:
Preferred monitor/documenter experience with Siemens hemodynamics and Epic Cupid.
Preferred Siemens x-ray experience.
