Job Description: Join a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab team working across 2 dedicated cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral/OR suites. This unit handles complex coronary and peripheral procedures including STEMI, structural heart interventions, and advanced device therapies.
Patient Types: - Coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock
- Complex total occlusions, valvular disease
- Renal & carotid stenosis, limb salvage
- Peripheral thrombosis
- Impella & LVAD insertions
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years with strong skills in:
- Coronary and structural heart cases
- Complex PCI and peripheral interventions
- Device management: IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, Penumbra
- Tech: Must be able to pan the table and manage arrhythmias
First-time travelers accepted only if highly experienced in these areas.
Certifications: - Tech: BLS, ACLS + RT(R) or RCIS
Education: - Tech: Associate Degree (AA/AAS)
Additional Info: - No floating to IR (separate departments)
- Orientation: 4 days (10-hour shifts)
- Weekend rotation: Every 4th weekend
- Call: 1-2 weekdays/week (4:30p-6:00a), plus every 4th weekend
- Holiday coverage: Possibly 1 per contract
- Scrubs provided (procedural)
