Cath Lab Technologist (Travel Assignment)
Job Overview:
Hays Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in the Radiology department. The technologist will assist in cardiac catheterization procedures and electrophysiology (EP) studies, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.
Key Details: - Start Date: July 7, 2025
- Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday)
- Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 40
- On-Call Requirements: 9-11 shifts per month
Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; EP experience preferred
- Certifications: ARRT or RCIS required
- Charting System: Meditech
Unit Details & Special Procedures: - Ratios: 1:1-2
- Floating: Required within the facility when needed
- Special Requirements: Candidates must be comfortable handling high-acuity cases
Additional Notes: - Local Candidate Rule: No travelers within 45 miles of the facility accepted
- Time Off Policy: All RTO must be approved and submitted upfront
- Observed Holidays: New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
- Scrubs: Provided by the Cath Lab department
- Parking: Free
