Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent adult acute care experience in a hospital-based Cath Lab setting. This position offers a structured day schedule and competitive compensation at a leading acute care facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment in a catheterization lab to assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures and report changes to the medical team.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a sterile and prepared procedure room.
  • Participate in call rotation and float to like units as needed.
  • Document all patient interactions and procedure details in Epic EMR.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be willing to float to like units.
  • On-call responsibilities required.
  • RTO must be submitted at the time of application.
  • One call-off permitted per two-week pay period by the facility.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience in an adult acute care hospital
  • First-time travelers accepted

License:

  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist - Radiography) - Required
  • California Radiologic Technologist License - Required
  • BLS (AHA) - Required
  • ACLS (AHA) - Required
  • California licensure must be active at submission

Skills:

  • Proficiency with Cath Lab equipment and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
  • EPIC charting experience preferred
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations in a fast-paced environment
