Job Summary: Prepares for and assists physician in all procedures done in the Cardiovascular Lab.
Supports the policies and procedures of FMLH and division of patient care services with a special emphasis placed on the needs of the patient undergoing invasive testing in the Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology Labs.
Collects, documents, records and calculates pertinent patient data.
Assist physician with all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Prepares and instructs patients pre and post procedure.
Performs basic radiologic functions including acquiring, processing, and storing digital images, basic equipment troubleshooting and radiation safety.
Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment & sterile field.
