CARDIOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
General Information: 353 Fairmont Blvd., Rapid City, SD
Clinics will have up to 22 patients per day
Minimum required experience - 1 year of Clinic experience required
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, prefer with Clinic experience of any kind
Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Patient Types: Cardiology background: General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Vascular Surgery
Patient Ratios: Will see 22 patients per day
Education Required: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Skills required: RN: Clinic experience preferred. Cardiology experience required with knowledge and understanding of vascular disease and treatments preferred. Understanding of cardiac and vascular testing preferred. Ability to work independently and be very organized. Excellent communication skills and collaboration with team is a must. LPN: Clinic experience required. Cardiology experience preferred but not required.
Support on the Unit: EKG tech, Clinical Assistants (3) - 1 CA per 10 rooms, LPN, Lead RN, Nursing Manager (RN)
Charting System: Epic (required)
Floating: Only within the Cardiology clinic
Orientation: Facility per protocol and 3-4 days on unit side by side with nurse

Required Certifications: RN: BLS required; ACLS preferred; LPN: BLS
Minimum required experience - 1 year of Clinic experience required
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing

Weekend rotation: no weekends
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? No call
Holiday Expectations: 2/4 required
Approval of time off? Prefer contract extension to have a total of 13 weeks for any full week off
