Job Details - Twin County Regional Hospital is a 141-bed facility including acute care, ambulatory care, and emergency services.
- The hospital offers specialty care including Cardiac Rehabilitation, Emergency Services, Orthopedic Services, Pain Management, Surgery, etc.
- The role is for a Behavioral Health RN position.
- The position is in the Behavioral Health unit with 12 beds and a patient ratio of 1:8.
- The patient population is adult.
- Common diagnoses include Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Depression, Personality Disorders.
- The role requires skills in de-escalation, communication, delegation to tech, assessment, isolation, restraint, and medical RN experience.
- Preferred experience includes non-BHU nursing and Charge RN experience.
Job Requirements - Must have certification/licensure to work as an RN in Virginia.
- Required certifications prior to start: BLS, CPI or Handle with Care.
- 1-2 years of experience required.
- Must have medical RN experience for float requirements.
- Required background checks: Virginia Central Registry, Virginia Fingerprinting (FBI and VA State Police), Virginia State Police Search, Virginia Child Abuse Registry.
Schedule Information - Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Weekend hours: Every Other/As Needed.
- Call requirements: As Needed.
