Job Details - The role you'll contribute: Under supervision, the Endoscopy Technician -Advanced Practice is the primary assistant to the physician performing the procedure.
- They possess the knowledge and skills for assisting the physician on advanced endoscopic procedures for patients with complex digestive health issues with minimal direction.
- The Endoscopy Technician - Advanced Practice participates with patient care in the Endoscopy procedure room by performance of technical and other delegated duties.
- Trains peers and maintains, cares for, and disinfects all scopes and equipment.
- Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, State and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
- Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining respectful relationships.
Job Requirements - Two years' experience as an endoscopy technician, or other comparable ancillary health care role.
- Experience in assisting GI physicians with complex ERCP (SPYGiass, sphincter of Oddi manometry, pancreatic endotherapy) and EUS-guided biliary and pancreatic ductal interventions.
Schedule Information - Shift: 4:10s, 7 Days of Call per Month
- Nights Mon - Fri on-call required.
