We are seeking a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to join our team at a Level II trauma center in Erie, PA, a beautiful, family-friendly city on the water. This position offers a unique opportunity to focus on trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care in a 423-bed regional hub hospital. As part of a multidisciplinary trauma care team, you ll collaborate with surgeons from various specialties, including orthopedic, neurosurgical, and cardiovascular teams, in a well-equipped trauma facility with leading-edge diagnostic and testing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care services to patients.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, interventional radiologists, and cardiovascular surgeons.
Participate in the care of trauma patients in a Level II Trauma Center with an annual volume of 2,000+ trauma cases.
Lead and educate residents and medical students in academic surgery.

Qualifications:
Completed training in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, or Acute Care Surgery.
American Board Certified/Eligible in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
Superior clinical and decision-making skills in trauma and critical care settings.
Commitment to academic surgery, medical education, and team collaboration.
