TeamHealth is looking for exceptional general surgeons to join our trauma, acute care general surgery program at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. Hendrick Medical Center is a level III trauma center offering facilities with cutting edge technology, 14 operating rooms, and a staff who create and nurture a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Fellowship in surgical critical care or trauma
- MD or DO: board certified
- Active or in-process Texas medical license
- Willing to relocate to the Abilene area
What you can expect- Work 7 days on/7 days off - 24 hour shift
- 12 hours of primary call then 12 hours of back-up call coverage
- 2 surgeon model
- Support from advanced practice clinicians
- Moderate trauma with a variety of cases
- Evaluation of all trauma and emergency general surgery consults
- Outpatient follow-up in clinic
- Round on in-house patients
