Ensures inventory is complete and report on damage and missing items is accurate. Inspects contractor's performance at owner's residence and at warehouse during packaging, packing, crating, loading, shipping, unloading, uncrating, and unpacking. Inspects crates and material for overseas or domestic shipment and rejects those not meeting specifications. Assists customers by providing information concerning the claims process. Provides counseling and assistance on a wide variety of transportation services to DoD personnel and their families. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
