Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join their rapidly-expanding Transactional Real Estate Practice Group in Washington, DC(link removed) This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career attorney to gain hands-on experience working on sophisticated real estate finance transactions within a nationally recognized team.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record(link removed)>
Active Bar Admission in DC, in good standing.
2-4 years of substantive experience, preferably in transactional or real estate finance work.
Interest or background in real estate transactions, commercial lending, or real estate finance is highly advantageous(link removed)>
Demonstrated ability to manage work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Eagerness to grow professionally through mentorship and direct exposure to clients and complex transactions.
Soft Skills: Excellent legal writing, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support a broad range of transactional matters, with a focus on real estate and real estate finance deals(link removed)>
Assist with the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and closing materials.
Conduct legal due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, and review of financial documents.
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop strategic solutions for clients.
Interface with clients in the multifamily finance space, including lenders, loan servicers, and institutional investors.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary: $235,000 $275,000, commensurate with experience.
