Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a well-established law firm in Denver to find an experienced Transactional Legal Assistant. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the legal team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Calendaring of important dates and deadlines.
- Handle time entry for attorneys.
- Proofread legal documents.
- Check invoices before they are sent to clients.
- File documents internally.
- Draft correspondence.
- Edit/format documents.
- Schedule meetings.
- Communicate with clients.
- Book travel arrangements.
- Create expense reports.
- Assist with billing.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of legal assistant experience in a law firm setting.
- Transactional law experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience with document management systems (iManage), billing software (Coyote), and timekeeping software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Applicants must CURRENTLY live in the Denver metro area. Out-of-state candidates will not be considered.
- Ability to commute to the firm's office in downtown Denver 2-5 days each week (option to work remotely 2-3 days per week).
Compensation
The pay rate for this role ranges from $31.25 - $38.47 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
