We are on the hunt for an accomplished Transactional Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of transactional matters in a fast-paced and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in Natural Resource Law, Public Agency, Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, and general counsel. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial agreements and contracts.
• Providing legal advice and guidance on natural resource law, public agency, real estate law, corporate law, and general counsel.
• Managing transactional projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and minimizing legal risks.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure all transactions are conducted in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Identifying legal or contractual issues and developing new approaches to resolve complex issues.
• Providing training to the company and its affiliates on substantive legal topics.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Transactional Attorney or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Natural Resource Law, Public Agency, Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, and general counsel.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful commercial agreements.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
• High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Admission to the state bar.
