We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Transactional Attorney with a concentration in Finance to join our dynamic legal team. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to showcase their expertise in transactional law while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing sound legal advice relating to financial transactions, ensuring that the company's financial activities are in compliance with the law, and mitigating legal risks. This role will require a proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of complex financial agreements, contracts, and transactions to ensure the company's best interests are protected.
2. Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on a broad spectrum of financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, and other financial transactions.
3. Ensure the company's financial activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
4. Collaborate with other departments to develop effective risk management strategies and procedures.
5. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide informed legal advice and recommendations.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and service providers.
7. Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's financial activities and adjust strategies as necessary.
8. Assist with the training of company staff on legal matters related to financial transactions and compliance.
9. Participate in the preparation and presentation of legal reports to company executives and board members.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a transactional attorney, specifically within the finance sector.
3. Must be admitted to practice law in the state.
4. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financial agreements and contracts.
5. Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to financial transactions.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to provide practical legal advice.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Strong commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and strategic approach to work.
