Manages formal schools training budget, to include all formal schools and Mission Essential Skills Training (MEST). Assists in all aspects of Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs. Provides education and training advisory services to commanders and staff on all education and training programs. Assists with the development of education and training instructional products. Qualifications MILITARY GRADES: E4 through E7 MILITARY REQUIREMENT: Must meet the AFECD requirements for entry into AFSC 3F2X1. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant's demonstrated ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulations, and procedures that otherwise validate the ability to perform or learn to perform the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months of experience and knowledge in scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies. Experience in the capabilities of communicative interpersonal skill applications and distance learning concepts. Knowledge of and skill in applying fundamental military personnel policies, training principles, practices, methods, procedures, rules, guidelines, publications, etc., to understand respective programs and converse with managers. Experience in performing interviews and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction methods; task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and education and training systems and products; effective writing skills; editing practices; instructional media application, training reporting, program and curriculum validation, and implementation procedures. Experience as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events. Must have at least 12 months experience equivalent to the GS-07.
