The Famous U (Technical) Training Coordinator will support the planning, implementation, and administration of the technical side of Famous University. This role will assist in coordinating training activities, maintaining training records, and ensuring smooth execution of learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, with an interest in professional development, customer and employee training.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule training sessions (for customers & associates).
Maintain and update training records, databases.
Assist in the distribution of training materials and resources.
Communicate with trainers, facilitators, and employees regarding training schedules and logistics.
Track and report on training participation.
Support the evaluation of training effectiveness through surveys and feedback collection.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in training and development.
Communicate monthly Famous U (technical schedule) when provided from Bill Hall
Communicate weekly Famous U (technical schedule) to customers to ensure awareness and class enrollment.
Register prospective class participants for classes they want to attend and ensure they are on the master registration list.
Make sure all Famous U technical classes are registered on the State of Ohio website so CEU credit can be applied for.
Responsible for transferring all classes to the master registration spreadsheet from e-mail responses which are later used to file with the state for CEU's and to bill the customer for coming to class.
Field phone calls from dealers requesting information and clarification on CEU credit hours. Do any necessary research to make sure CEU's that were earned are assigned to the customer. Follow up with customer to provide an answer regarding CEU classes taken and credits issued.
o Contact the State of Ohio if we find no error on our part and get the proper credits applied to the correct customer.
Maintain and administer the Famous U technical VIP memberships and renewals which come due 1 year after they initially sign up. These are not on a calendar year schedule.
Send out zoom links to the people attending classes the day before the class is to be held.
Monitor classes on an as needed basis.
Invoice customers for all classes taken in a timely manner, once the class is completed.
o Invoice customer if they have an open line of credit
o E-mail bid of class if customer is cash or COD and then receive check when it's sent in.
Apply for CEU hours with the State of Ohio and pay all associated fees for those hours.
Create any accompanying certificates for NATE or the City of Pittsburgh and send those to the participants requesting them.
Create any class flyers to announce a class and send it to the outside associates and the branch requesting the training. If QR codes are requested create them and send those to the instructor. Once class is finished file with State for CEU credits and bill customer.
Create QR codes for all EXPO's, review registrations, and file for State CEU credit and bill the customer.
Create new classes on state website for any class that is already approved by the state.
o Apply for any new classes at the State after collecting instructor bio's & class agenda's
Accept and process credit cards for payment of classes attended.
Create flyers for all the A2L classes depending on where they are being held as well as the EPA 608 classes.
o If using paper testing, handle those registrations as well and then send the material off for grading
o Invoice the participants for any EPA 608 classes.
Schedules Mitsubishi classes as needed and follows the same procedures mentioned above to get the CEU's and billing handled.
Scheduling of classes that will be held at a branch and follow through if meals are needed to make sure the branch knows how many people will be attending.
Provide support for any of the promotions we run through Generac and process the credit memo for the free product.
All other duties requested and assigned to maintain and keep Famous U technical up to date with the State of Ohio.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in training coordination, HR, or administrative support.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with event planning or scheduling is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in corporate training or employee development.
Knowledge of instructional design principles.
