Training Specialist II

Source One is a consulting services company and we're currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our direct client, a global medical device company in Houston, TX.

Job Title: Training Specialist II (Contractor)

Pay Rate: $36.51/hr (W-2)

Req 4619-1

The contract duration is initially 2 years

As a team member of the Training Department, responsibilities will include:

- Manage training records in the Learning Management System (LMS)

- Generating on-demand reports from various data sources (LMS, Excel Pivot Tables)

- Compiling Training Metrics for weekly / monthly reports

- Planning Training events, managing rosters, and setting up training sessions

- Instructing GxP training sessions to associates on topics that vary in levels of complexity

- Creating and updating training materials

- Creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures

- Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct onboarding sessions

- Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes

Preferred skills:

- 3 years directly related experience in GxP Training environment

Technical Skills:

- Microsoft Excel - proficient to expert

- Plateau (Learning Management System database) or similar - proficient to expert

- Microsoft Word - proficient

- Microsoft Outlook - proficient to expert

- Microsoft PowerPoint - proficient to expert

Soft Skills:

- Strong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)

- Sound decision making and organizational skills

- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards

- Visually creative with professional presentations and wall displays (graphic design)

- Prompt and reliable with training instructor appointments

- Professional approach to classroom Instruction
