Project Manager
Position Description JRC is currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) to lead high profile programs. The PM will lead
teams through the development, planning, and execution of comprehensive project plans. This
role oversees all training facilitation, event planning, logistical coordination, and administrative
support. The PM will manage all aspects of program planning and execution, assuming overall
responsibility of the success of the program, leading the project development from inception
through completion. The PM will actively manage the JRC team of consultants including
subcontractors and part-time contracted personnel and maintains responsibility for overall
planning, execution, evaluation, and improvement. The PM will provide a full range of program
management capabilities including initial assessment of formal business requirements and
engagement with management, stakeholders and clients; project plan development and
execution; ongoing client and contractor team communications including project parameters,
policies and processes; status reporting; participant and guest facilitator coordination; risk and
issue identification, management and mitigation; budget tracking and management; quality
review; gains optimization; and team oversight. The PM will provide a full range of program
design and delivery support. The PM shall be available between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, except Federal
holidays or when the Government facility is closed for administrative reasons. Roles and Responsibilities Details:
• Leads JRC client programs, inclusive of large and small scale projects, one time and multiple event activities throughout the fiscal year.
• The PM must lead every aspect and ensure completeness of projects from inception through completion including development and planning efforts, execution, evaluation, and closeout.
• Performs an initial assessment of the project based on formal business requirements, deliverables and engagement with management, stakeholders, and clients.
• Formulates a detailed project plan and communicate project parameters, policies, and processes with the contract staff and Government.
• The PM works in coordination with Government Program Leads to coordinate all aspects of the effort including but not limited to o securing meeting locations suitable for a variety of learning experiences and opportunities for the participants including hotels, food/beverage, and other logistics. o managing online events (i.e., Zoom, Teams, posting materials, polling, videos, etc.). , o arranging SMEs, speakers to confirm participation, availability and in detail, provide roles, responsibility, program support requirements, and providing creative learning opportunities. o Finalizing participant needs including materials (i.e., guides, presentations, tools, etc.).
• Oversees all project tasks, deliverables to ensure timely completion and delivery, and considers continuous process improvement. Prepare contingency plans to adequately support national emergencies and/or pandemic situations
• Proactively ensure regular communication with program leadership and plans for contract reporting requirements including but not limited to executive summaries, briefs, talking points, daily summaries/reports of participant feedback.
• The PM may coordinate requirements and actions with all stakeholders (i.e., program support, contracts, military protocol officers, executive assistants, security, police officers, and conference room support staff, etc.), on all arrangements.
• The PM coordinates, and manages status meetings, meeting minutes, monthly reports, and pre- and post-briefings.
• The PM ensures all project close out activities and contract requirements are met, completed (i.e., survey results, performance analysis, improvement recommendations, etc.). Position Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Seven years of experience developing and implementing training programs
• Five years of program/project manager experience leading a DOD program
• Strong writing and editing skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with DoD Organizations, leadership, and communication preferred
• Customer oriented, positive, and can-do attitude is a must
• High level of professionalism and business acumen
• Ability to work in a team-based environment with internal and external partners Company Description
