Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role focuses on designing, implementing, and facilitating training programs to support employee development and align with company goals. This position collaborates with various teams to assess training needs, develop curriculum, write job instructions, and deliver training through workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job methods while also working independently on specific projects.

This position requires in-person office attendance and is based in our Carmel, Indiana headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and implement digital training materials (e.g., animations, simulations, videos).
  • Update and refine training programs to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and deliver training via instructor-led sessions, web-based courses, and other methods.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Work with subject matter experts to validate and improve content.
  • Analyze training outcomes and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Maintain and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading courses, tracking participation, and generating reports.
  • Partner with others to align training initiatives with business goals.
  • Support colleagues across the organization as a trusted training resource.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  • Develop and maintain training schedules, ensuring timely delivery of programs.
  • Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Create user-friendly training guides and documentation.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning.
  • Coordinate external training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in training materials.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives and encourage a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in training coordination, instructional design/development (financial services/RIA preferred).
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and end-user training.
  • Proven ability to facilitate training sessions and develop engaging content.
  • Customer-service oriented with a team-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently on projects while contributing to team efforts.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in training materials and records.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Problem-solving skills with integrity and sound judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency in eLearning and video production tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered training tools and their application in instructional design.
  • Experience developing online microlearning modules and interactive training experiences preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with strong project coordination skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems preferred (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Ability to engage and support colleagues while driving training initiatives.
  • Familiarity with various business systems and ability to provide training.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple projects with attention to detail.
