Position Summary:
The Training Administrator position is responsible for supporting the major functions of the training program in support of internship, CCBHC and CMHC requirements and the overall agency mission and vision. The Training Administrator will collaborate with Center leadership to develop and implement annual training programs, working with all levels of the agency to ensure quality training and education is being provided.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• In collaboration with others, develop and maintain an annual training plan informed by continuous quality improvement efforts and regulatory standards.
• Ensure that training plans address all CCBHC requirements (Cultural Competence, Person/Family-Centered Care, Trauma-Informed Care, Integration of Care, etc.) as well as FSGC required annual training.
• Coordinate with programs to identify the training and educational needs of each respective program.
• Ensure familiarity with the different disciplines and their respective academic and licensing requirements at all levels; is familiar with State required training for all disciplines and job titles.
• In conjunction with Directors, supervisors, and programs, review the content of and help select appropriate training for staff.
• In collaboration with Directors, supervisors, and programs, develop and maintain methods to track, assess, and measure the skills/competencies of employees in conjunction with agency policies and procedure.
• In collaboration with Human Resources, support the agency's new employee on-boarding process and other annual trainings, to include scheduling shadowing and training opportunities specific to employee's roles.
• Maintain effective and timely communication to keep supervisors and HR apprised of new employee on-boarding progress and completion of all required trainings.
• Develop, schedule, and lead educational presentations, classes, and other educational activities as needed, ensuring all trainings/competencies are recorded correctly in personnel records.
• In conjunction with the APA Program Training Director and other agency Directors, organize and schedule internal speakers and trainers, including a centralized registration process.
• In collaboration with others, ensure that individuals providing staff training have the documented education, qualifications, training, and experience as defined by Center guidelines or evidenced-based training modules.
• In collaboration with Human Resources, serve as an administrator of the Learning Management System(s) (LMS) to provide online training to staff.
• Work with other agency stakeholders to achieve continuous performance improvement in agency educational activities.
• Assess training effectiveness across departments. Document and provide feedback to supervisors throughout the organization about training deficiencies in their department(s).
• Work with internal and community partners to maximize knowledge about the Center's training and educational opportunities.
• Promote an environment that is conducive to learning.
• Assist with registration and tracking of trainings across the agency.
• Participate in collaborative efforts with other Mental Health Centers in Kansas if necessary.
• Regular and predicable attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure:
• Education and/or experience equivalent to undergraduate degree in training, human resources, education, human services, mental health, social services, business, or related field required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Must successfully pass the KBI and DCF Central Registry and all other background investigations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record, current auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in developing training content and curriculum, preferred.
• Experience building online training. Relias, Articulate, KS Train preferred.
• Experience with planning and coordination of training plans.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
