Compensation:
  • Starting at $51,667 in the first year with progressive increases to $65,167 by year three.
  • Compensation based on an hourly rate; earn more with increased hours worked.
  • Typical schedule is 45 hours a week, consisting of 5 working days.

Responsibilities:

As a Manager Trainee, you will embrace various responsibilities:
  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service:
    • Lead by example, providing exceptional customer interactions and addressing needs effectively.
    • Turn customer concerns into positive outcomes, cultivating loyalty and repeat business.
    • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for all customers.
  • Supervise Daily Operations:
    • Manage daily store production and staff according to business needs.
    • Ensure all operational standards are met for quality service delivery.
    • Complete necessary administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Lead and Motivate Employees:
    • Coach and mentor team members, creating a positive work culture.
    • Develop schedules that meet business demands and support employee needs.
    • Uphold Waterway's policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • An associate's degree or higher (or currently a college senior) or at least 2 years of relevant experience in management, professional sales, or military leadership.
  • Available to work a retail schedule (45 hours weekly, including weekends and holidays).
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work outdoors year-round, with exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a fast pace.
  • Must be able to see and hear clearly for safety in a dynamic work environment.
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Regular attendance is essential, with flexibility for varying schedules.
