Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing.
Understand that excellent service is not only technical competence but also building strong human relationships.
Maintain a well-organised approach to work, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Work collaboratively as part of a team, particularly on large-scale projects and contracts.
Share customer success stories and demonstrate positive experiences.
Deliver high-quality pest inspection, infestation control, and treatment services to commercial and residential clients.
Respond to pest control service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Complete detailed service reports and accurately record visit information using PDA/Android technology.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest infestations or risks and recommend preventive measures.
Administer appropriate pest treatments and advise customers on findings and next steps.
Provide written and verbal advice on maintenance and hygiene/housekeeping to reduce pest risks.
Submit sales leads to the sales team when further services are recommended.
Clean and safely remove evidence of infestations where appropriate.
Experience & Skills Required:
Full UK driving licence preferred, but trainee foot technicians will be considered.
A genuine interest and basic knowledge of pest control.
Previous trade experience is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work in various challenging environments (confined spaces, damp/dusty conditions, hot or cold environments).
Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently when required.
