Our approach combines technical training with practical on-the-job experience, including shadowing experienced Surveyors and participating in classroom sessions.

To qualify as a Trainee AssocRICS Surveyor, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- An RICS-accredited surveying-related degree, graduate or postgraduate, including a valuation module and/or building surveying with a pathology module on residential buildings, and at least one year of property-related work experience.
- An RICS-approved HND, HNC, NVQ Level 3 diploma, BTEC, or foundation degree with two or more years of property-related work experience, such as estate agency or surveying/valuation disciplines.
- A minimum of 4 years of property-related work experience, e.g., negotiator level or higher in estate agency, or equivalent experience in asset management, LPA, or property management involving caseload handling and decision-making in property matters.
