JOB DESCRIPTON
The Trade Support Specialist is a key member of the Trade Operations team, responsible for overseeing corporate actions, both mandatory and voluntary. This role involves reviewing loan amendments and supporting various trading activities. Responsibilities include coordinating with portfolio managers, traders, analysts, operations teams, and external partners, broker-dealers, and third-party agents.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support loan amendments, retrieve ERISA documents, and assist with trade onboarding.
- Reconcile corporate action impacts across internal systems and custodian records.
- Communicate with custodians to verify event details and confirm voluntary instructions.
- Oversee mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, including calls, tenders, mergers, spin-offs, stock splits, and SPACs.
- Record strategist and analyst decisions, ensuring accurate event processing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Los Angeles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience and general knowledge of domestic and global fixed income and equity securities
- Familiarity with Bloomberg preferred
