As Trade Strategy Analyst on our Business Development team, you will support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of our Customer Trade Funding Architecture (i.e. the "Trade Architecture"), which aligns investment levels with retailer support of brand priorities, historical return on investment (ROI) performance and Conagra growth goals. You will report to our Trade Strategy Manager.

Your Impact:
  • Support development and preparation of Trade Architecture analysis and reporting
  • Develop complex and comprehensive analyses and recommendations on items related to the Trade Architecture, including development/analysis of options for ongoing enhancements that increase profitability and oversight of monthly/annual reporting requirements
  • Provide visibility, transparency and analytical rigor to Trade Architecture components and considerations, working with partners in the Revenue Management, Business Development, Sales, Brand and Finance organizations
  • Support the annual customer performance assessment and rate-setting process (which enables the broader Sales Planning process), including updating of Trade Architecture models, development and mass-loading of initial customer-specific trade rates by item, and in-year rate adjustments because of compliance variances
  • Lead ongoing maintenance of trade rates and provide support in issue solving for funding balance discrepancies
  • Support development and refreshing of trade related tools and reporting
Your Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1+ years of related business experience
  • Experience with Excel (for data analytics, dashboard/tracker building) and PowerBI
  • Knowledge of syndicated data (e.g. IRI, Nielsen)
  • Experience developing complex analyses and determining basic analyses required to support teams in their Trade Architecture decisions (e.g. structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results and recommendations)

Located in downtown Chicago along the Chicago River, our corporate headquarters is in the landmark Merchandise Mart, with access to public transit and several options for dining and shopping in the area.

Compensation:

Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
