Job Description

We are trying to find a smart and collaborative Trade Show Coordinator to join our marketing team. You will report to the Marketing Product Group Manager. No direct supervisory responsibility. You will work primarily with the Cabinet Shop, Sales Reps, Supply Chain, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Materials group, Logistics, Marketing & Trade Show Vendors and be responsible (along with the other Trade Show Coordinator) for leading the creative team that envisions each new trade show booth/experience, as well as for designing and drawing the elements of the show, coordinating the building of trade show displays and onsite coordinating of both the booth set up and take down with show vendors.

Here are some of the things you will be expected to accomplish:
  • Assist with plans, designs, drawings, costs & builds for trade shows, product displays, working samples, creative layouts, showrooms & exhibit floorplans
  • Use CAD design software to create display designs, exhibit layouts, display renderings, working model designs, & produce detailed display drawings for review & production
  • Use Illustrator or other illustration software to create exhibit & display graphics
  • Create exhibit layout plans, materials lists & delivery of materials to show/exhibit
  • Work with show vendors to plan & order services for exhibits
  • Coordinate between external vendors, internal departments, and Trade Show planning teams.
  • Coordinate setup & dismantling of trade show displays & exhibits
  • Assist with planning & designing physical product displays within each department
  • Interact with internal departments to create working model displays
  • Occasional domestic & international travel is required
  • Can work a semi-flexible office schedule but is expected to work whenever required
  • Keep up to date on latest trends and tools in materials and Trade Show world
  • Create trade show booth & display plans for different audiences including designers, cabinet makers and local trade shows
  • Create floor plans for different audiences including designers, cabinet makers and local trade shows
  • Create exhibit & display graphics
  • Create working models plans
  • Create task lists & schedules for setting up show booths
  • Converse with vendors and outside sources to create show specific service lists & procure related material
  • Assist in the construction of show booths & displays
  • Assist in the planning & design of product displays (all areas of the facility)

Job Requirements
  • BA/BS in Design, Engineering, Communications, and/or Business or similar discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, Trade Show, Exhibit, &/ or Display design, with proven success, preferably in the kitchen & bath industry

Most important is having hands-on knowledge of the following:
  • Proficient in 3D modeling, texturing shapes and lighting to create dramatic and polished visualization
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SolidWorks programs
  • An understanding of construction techniques and materials
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate concepts and ideas visually as well as verbally
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with co-workers
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing with minimal supervision
  • Excel under pressure while meeting deadlines and project goals
  • AutoCAD is a plus
  • Kitchen design is a plus
  • SAP, 3D Max, and Photoshop are pluses
  • Office 365
