Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Trade Sales Account Manager, located on-site in Coppell, TX. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven team member to join our dynamic sales team. This individual will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key decision-makers in our trade segment. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, working to expand Fatboy's footprint in the trade business of hospitality and design sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential trade partners in the US market who will benefit from Fatboy's products. Develop a consistent pipeline of leads, including networking, cold calling, tradeshows and attending industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Understand client needs and provide tailored product solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Sales Presentations and Product Demonstrations: Present Fatboy's collection range to potential accounts, delivering engaging presentations and product demonstrations. Effectively communicate the value proposition and unique features of our lifestyle solutions.
- Sales Negotiation and Closing: Drive sales through effective negotiation, addressing client concerns and securing contracts. Work to meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring timely and successful closure of deals.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth. Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams on customer preferences and emerging demands.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with product, operations and marketing teams to provide the best customer experience for our clients to receive quality and timely delivery.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Track sales activities, managing CRM databases, and generate reports on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline status. Analyze data to adjust strategies and achieve sales goals.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience of 5 years plus in sales ideally within the furniture industry.
- Strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close high-value deals with business owners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Knowledge of the furniture industry and trends is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
- A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
