Trade Marketing Manager - Foodservice
Location: Beaverton, Oregon, full-time onsite, and traveling up to 15% as required, relocation assistance provided.
Compensation: $115-$125k + 10% bonus
Are you passionate about food and ready to drive impactful marketing strategies for a leading consumer brand? We are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives that support annual sales goals and long-term Foodservice growth. This role will develop and manage key marketing strategies, sales collateral, and digital platforms to enhance brand presence and drive sales in the Foodservice sector.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to drive sales growth and increase market share, continuously assessing and optimizing results.
- Lead all marketing aspects of Foodservice packaging projects and new product launches.
- Oversee agency partnerships, including budgeting and defining scope of work.
- Conduct competitive and industry trend analyses, providing strategic recommendations.
Sales & Digital Asset Management
- Manage all digital assets, including the Foodservice website and digital tool platforms, ensuring effective support for brokers and the Foodservice team.
- Lead the development and management of critical sales and marketing collateral, including customer presentations.
- Champion marketing content related to Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) initiatives.
Sales & Digital Asset Management
- Conduct and interpret competitive intelligence and industry trend research to shape marketing strategies.
- Utilize foodservice-specific datasets to analyze customer behavior and sales performance.
- Translate data into actionable insights, influencing product positioning, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
- Identify emerging opportunities in the Foodservice sector to drive customer engagement and brand growth.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Foodservice Sales, and the R&D Business Development Manager to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Engage with Brokers, Distributors, and Operators to support go-to-market strategies and ensure effective execution.
What You Bring
- Experience: 5-7 years in foodservice marketing is required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Foodservice landscape.
- Experience with foodservice marketing insights and sales tracking platforms. Familiarity with Datassentials or Technomics is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
