Trade Manager

Conduct organizational studies and evaluations of trade activities between the U.S. and Brazil. Develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in the companys import/export activities and procedures to assigned region. Review current logistics operations and gather and analyze information regarding the transport of products, equipment and materials in order to conceptualize and define operational problems. Plan study of work product and procedure, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, inventory control, or cost analysis and develop strategically effective and relevant operational and management methodology to meet the needs of the organization. Prepare quantitative operational analysis of historic and actual data, volumes and costs and draft operational forecasts to assess impact of market developments on the organizations operations in region of responsibility, including back office, terminal operations, trucking operations, maintenance and repairs. Evaluate possible solutions to facilitate cost reduction and determine which plan will best increase cost, operational and managerial efficiency. Based on analysis, recommend changes in operational management in order to assist with policy formation and provide strategic guidance to executive management.

Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Logistics Analyst, Import/Export Analyst, Operations Analyst, or related. Related experience must be in the U.S. freight forwarding industry and include familiarity with: Brazil/US containerized cargo trade; and, Logistics management analysis
