A bit about us:Based in the Placentia area, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to our strategic growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of trade compliance, including import and export activities, customs regulations, and trade laws. This role requires a deep understanding of global trade compliance and a passion for delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Job DetailsResponsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive global trade compliance program.
2. Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable international trade laws and regulations.
3. Oversee all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
4. Provide training and guidance to staff on trade compliance procedures and regulations.
5. Conduct regular audits to identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
6. Stay abreast of changes in trade laws and regulations, and adjust company policies and procedures accordingly.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and compliant trade activities.
8. Manage relationships with customs authorities and other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade compliance, or logistics
3. Strong knowledge of international trade laws and customs regulations.
4. Proven experience in managing a comprehensive trade compliance program.
5. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Proficiency in relevant software applications and systems.
10. Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified Export Specialist (CES) designation is a plus.
