3. Bachelor's Degree preferred
Certification in CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) is a plus
Licensed Customs Broker is a plus
Customs
Compliance US and Canada
Handling lots of data for excise tax for finished goods
MS Excel Pivot tables
Global Trade Management (GTM) software is a plus
4. Role Type: Hybrid : 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
5. Hours: 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, M-F
6. Travel Involved - No business travel
7. Education - Bachelor's degree or Industry Certification in CCS (Certified Customs Specialist)

Detailed Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Support managing a comprehensive Customs & Excise program and relevant deliverables.
• Accountable for import and excise compliance for both the US and Canada for finished goods, bulk goods, raw materials, and other commodities.
• Facilitate day-to-day activities by ensuring timely execution of reporting and other requirements in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Primarily support the implementation of new US import strategies; must know US customs import laws and procedures.
• Establish excellent working relationships with a variety of stakeholders while working independently to take decisive actions as necessary.
Key Outputs
• Generate reports and analyze relevant data and outputs.
• Collect, review, and organize documentation.
• Support establishing best practices, ensuring ways of working are well documented.
• Benchmark internally; listen to user input to enable efficient, compliant deliverables.
Skills & Experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail; self-starter
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel: pivot tables, vlookups)
• Knowledge of SAP; experience with Global Trade Management (GTM) software is a plus
• Undergraduate degree preferred; strong analytical skills required
• Licensed Customs Broker or relevant experience, preferred
Management Responsibility
This role is responsible for building collaborative relationships with internal team and third-party customs brokers. The role has no direct reports.
Manager's Note: Seeking someone with strong analytical skills who can analyze import data and, conduct analysis. Previous data analysis experience preferred.
