Tower Technician - Inspection & Maintenance

A growing leader in the communications tower industry is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Tower Technicians. We specialize in inspection, maintenance, and installation of cell and broadcast towers, and we're looking for individuals who are technically skilled, hands-on, and eager to contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. This is an hourly position with added extras.

This position requires the ability to climb towers up to 500 feet, lift 100 lbs, and troubleshoot, install, and maintain various communication systems. Extensive travel is required, primarily throughout the Midwest region, with company-provided vehicles and accommodations.

Key Responsibilities for Tower Technician


  • Climb and work on various communication towers, including self-support and guyed towers.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair wireless communication systems, antennas, lighting, and cabling.
  • Read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications to meet client requirements.
  • Perform safety inspections and maintain accurate site documentation.
  • Work closely with a team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain company tools, vehicles, and inventory.
  • Adhere to all OSHA, NATE, and industry safety standards.

What We're Looking For as a Tower Technician


  • 3 years of experience as a Tower Technician (preferred).
  • Ability to climb towers daily and work comfortably at significant heights.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in rigging, material handling, and load securement.
  • Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) awareness, PPE, and job site safety protocols.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs, work outdoors in extreme weather, and perform physically demanding tasks.
