Top Secret Software Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Top Secret Cleared Software Engineer for one of their top Aerospace & Defense Clients at Offut AFB in Nebraska. This individual will be responsible for the following:

Use engineering principles and programming languages to create software for end users.

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.

Properly document engineering during the design process.

Author test scrips in various languages.

Evaluate existing code to ensure proper architecture. (how much evaluating vs hands on coding?)

Support software administration, security, configuration, and developmental security operations through deployment.

Interface between project stakeholders (internal and external).

Reporting project status, as requested by government customer.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience software related experience

Strong C and Java experience

Experience coding in C and C+ Ability to write code in multiple languages (SQL, Java, C )

Working knowledge of agile software development experience with linux, windows, SolarWinds, SIEMs, etc

Active TS Clearance

BS degree in STEM Previous working experience with DoD, USAF, or other military organizations

Experience with technical systems development

Experience improving software

General knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, and other scheduling tools

General knowledge of MBSE processes

General knowledge of requirements management tools null
