About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Toolmaker
• Pay Rate Range: $26-40/Hour
• Location: Forest Lake, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM
• Position Type: Direct Hire Toolmaker Requirements and Qualifications:

1. 2 years mold making experience in a tool shop environment, preferred.
2. 2 years technical or trade school degree with an emphasis on tool making or equivalent experience, preferred.
3. Understanding of blueprint reading and mold and/or component manufacturing.
4. Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States, required.
5. Lifting 40lbs.
6. Standing for long durations of time.
7. Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.

Toolmaker Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Build and repair molds to customer specifications.
2. Troubleshoot problems with a mold and arrive with an action plan to correct the problem in a reasonable amount of time.
3. Schedule and manage work in other departments as required.
4. Operate all necessary equipment in a safe manner with little or no supervision.
5. Wear safety equipment that is relevant to the position, job being performed, or equipment being used.
6. Work cooperatively with all employees.
7. Take responsibility to see jobs are completed when due.
8. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
