Job Summary:
The Tooling Operations Manager II is pivotal in shaping the future of our Global Tooling Supply Chain. This role acts as a strategic leader that oversees critical processes, identifies and eliminates inefficiencies, and champions continuous improvement initiatives. Maximizes the efficiency and effectiveness of the tooling ecosystem, from developing data-driven strategies to leading system implementations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop insightful analytics, craft business strategies, and recommend CAPEX investments to optimize tooling resources

Generate and manage key tooling performance indicators (KPIs) for informed decision-making

Spearhead the implementation of Tableau dashboards for clear and actionable data insights.

Optimize Tooling Allocation: Oversee Tooling Auto Assigner Simulations and identify gaps in demand planning to ensure efficient resource allocation

Develop a Proactive Maintenance Strategy by creating a data-driven plan for tooling maintenance man-hours based on anticipated workload volume

Maintain and update the Digital Daily Management Work List for the global tooling organization, ensuring ongoing process optimization

Determine the best Recommended Tooling List for Turbine Outages by technology and scope, ensuring efficient maintenance

Calculate the CAPEX return on investment (ROI) for newly acquired tooling for informed resource allocation

Analyze projected inventory utilization versus actual demand and recommend strategic tooling movements across locations

Own the process of upgrading our ERP system and resolving issues within the ERP ETM that manages the tooling supply chain process

Lead the development and implementation of a bi-directional project integrating Salesforce (SFDC) with the SAP ETM system for seamless data flow

Lead ERP ETM user training and system industrialization across global regions, ensuring user proficiency and system adoption

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as engineering, business administration, or supply chain management
-
8+ years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas: operations, manufacturing, supply chain management, warehouse management, quality control, lean manufacturing principles, field service operations, engineering, product management, or project/program management

3+ years of experience leading and developing teams within an industrial setting
-
4+ years of experience in the rotating power generation or turbomachinery equipment industry is a strong plus

Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
