NHV Group is a European based helicopter service provider, specialised in business-to-business helicopter services both offshore & onshore.

Our tooling coordinator manages our tools & equipment - used for the maintenance of the helicopters - across our helicopter bases: planning & follow-up, database management, etc.

Some of your responsibilities and main result areas are:

Registration of tools:

Know what's where, and keep the database up to date;

Proactively plan and follow up on recurrent calibrations & condition checks to ensure all tools meet operational standards;

Provide basic training for engineers & storekeepers on tool related procedures;

Visit our different bases to ensure all tools are properly registered and labelled.

Procurement of tools:

Based on input from the engineers always search for the most adequate tools and define preferred suppliers;

Keep good contacts with key suppliers to ensure best price & services;

Procure all tools for new start-up projects in cooperation with the local Maintenance Lead or Chief Engineer while monitoring tooling budget and costs;

Coordinate all open orders until delivered at destination (cooperation with logistics).

Define standard lists of tools per helicopter type:

Define cost, average lead times & supplier options;

Keep lists updated with new maintenance programs, tool revisions & cost reviews.

Budget & cost monitoring:

Report on current tools stock value per base;

Report on monthly tools related purchases & repair costs per base;

Keep overview & report on cost saving initiatives.

Skills & experience

We are looking for a candidate with:

A bachelor degree in mechanic/electronics or equivalent by work experience;

A technical background, because it is a must to understand the use of many different tools;

A hands-on approach, flexible in planning your tasks, communicating with different bases and departments;

You are comfortable working independently within the context of a complex organization and in good rapport with your manager.

You are able to quickly master new IT software packages and have the right skills to deal with many different suppliers from different countries.

Languages: fluent in English (speaking & writing), Dutch & French is a strong plus.
